CBN is upgrading its production facilities to enable us produce better quality programs, and at a higher turnover per available resources. The studio was shut down and permanent lights were rigged for better lighting of the sets, hosts and guests. And then, the Tricaster technology has been acquired for live-to-tape recordings of our programs. This will enhance the production process. While this process was going on, the production department concentrated on recording pieces for the different programs, waiting when the studio will be reopened for taping the programs.
The team traveled to Lagos to record stories from the Makoko Medical Mission. The Turning Point team from Virginia Beach visited Nigeria, and recorded programs and interviews. Working with the Nigeria team, they recorded interviews with the Mrs. Osinbajo, the Vice President’s wife, and Mr. Ortom, the governor of Benue State, among others.
The production team was also in Agwabi in Buruku Local Government Area of Benue State to record stories from the Medical Mission.
Programs taping will resume in the last quarter of the year, with One Cubed Naija, You Were There, Living the Life, and Heart to Heart.
