God knows it all and He loves us still

We have all experienced times and seasons in our lives where we may have felt forgotten or overlooked. This feeling is kind of like when you are the last person who is picked for a team at school. It is important to remember that God has never and will never forget us. He knows everything about us (Psalm 139). And He holds the key to our future.

We may be tempted to wonder how someone could possibly know every single one of the billions of people in this world, all at once? The exciting thing is that God totally does! It blows my mind that God can know the details of our lives and love every part of us perfectly and completely.

With this in mind, it is also important to remember that God doesn’t think like we do.  He is huge, unlimited and He is incredibly aware of us all. He is fully able to deeply love each of us whole-heartedly. Christine Caine recently wrote an encouragement into this very thing, “God holds the key to our future—and he never forgets us.”

The key for us, is to surrender

When we surrender to God, we are putting our faith into practice. We know it can be easy to forget this and it can be easy at times to feel like you are the only one going through what you’re going through. The key is to surrender to Jesus, acknowledge His Lordship over your life and let Him reveal His plan for your life from a place of peace.

We want to encourage you. God will never leave you, He’ll never forsake you and He hasn’t forgotten about you. And He holds the key to the beautiful future He has for you!

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:5-6
