We are very happy to invite you to the maiden edition of CBN Nigeria’s Superbook Fest! The event will hold on the 27th May 2017 , 12 pm prompt.
Superbook is a 3D animation that teaches children timeless moral truths and life lessons. It achieves this through the exciting, Bible-based adventures of two time-traveling children (Chris and Joy) and their robot friend (Gizmo). As they travel through time, they learn about God’s Word and how they can apply it to their everyday lives.
The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) developed the Superbook series in 1981. CBN also produces the popular programs—The 700 Club and Turning Point International. Superbook episodes have been produced and broadcasted in 106 countries in the world, and over 500 million people (adults inclusive) have viewed Superbook worldwide. The team behind the new Superbook is one that consists of Emmy award-winning artists and storytellers whose credits include some of Disney’s classiest animations of all time.
The growing demand for the new Superbook has informed CBN’s decision to host this event. The aim of the event is to commemorate the annual “National Children’s Day”. As part of the activities, we plan to show new episodes of Superbook. In addition, we would organize intellectual games and dancing competitions among other activities you don’t want to miss!
The Superbook Fest would no doubt be greatly beneficial to the children, as they will learn so much. They will be exposed to values like obedience, courage, faith, diligence, forgiveness and sacrifice, and all these will be done in a fun and exciting way.
